A BLEND OF IDEAS AND MATERIALS TO CREATE A MODERN TAKE ON CLASSIC SHAPES.

The design choices that make up the lamp all come from a period of experimentation with both new techniques of manufacturing and new materials like carbon fiber. Working with experts to create difficult curvatures in the carbon fiber without loosing the perfection of the weave pattern was the hardest part. After many attempts we arrived at the desired outcome.

DESIGN DETAILS THAT SET IT APART.

All of the components of the lamp are hand made and finished to meet MINAS vision. 

• Carbon fiber was used for the neck and base of the lamp.
• The lamp incorporates a thump shaped intendation on the neck, a design detail Minas drew from his Olympic tourch design.
• The rotating dimmer handle is cast oxidized silver that mechanically dimms the lamp. 
• All lamps come with a hand signed and numbered 18k yellow gold ring near the base of the lamp.
